scatter-shot theory was/is a sample improv group from back-in-the-day that improvised their compositions primarily on Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard samplers. members included/include the volcanic michael s. rosen (AKA Idiom Creak), the explosive Damian C. Cohn (AKA overturned big rig and derailed freight train) and the untrespassable Chris Topher Lewis (AKA Mr. Dark Keys).
